Install Code Composer Studio
The installation is actually simple and straight forward
Navigate to: K:/DF/DFEC/ECE382/Fall-18
Drag the binary CSS8.00016_win32.zip to your computer
You can’t install from the zipped archive, so right click on it and select Extract All
Now go to where you extracted the folder and find the file ccs_setup_8.0.0.00016, double click on that to run the installation
You will probably have to give your admin password to install this
I also got a warning about virus software running, ignore it
Accept the license and select all of the defaults
Eventually you come to a window asking you to select what to install
Select: MSP430 ultra-low power MCU’s
It was the top item when I did it
